The Benefits of Raising Chickens in Your Backyard
Birds turn the soil into compost and provide healthy food
It may not seem like it, but having chickens in your backyard can give you a healthier life.
As they are omnivorous birds, they recycle food scraps and organic waste from the backyard, preventing them from going to dumps or landfills. Not to mention that the compost produced by the birds results in a fertilized soil rich in nitrogen. And problems with unwanted insects and pests will end with the arrival of chickens, which can also provide you with fresh, natural eggs, in addition to the meat itself - all with the certainty that you are not consuming preservatives and other additives that are common in industrialized products.

Before buying a litter of puppies, make sure you are ready for the commitment. The basic necessities for this adventure are: housing, protection from predators and supplies.
First, check with local authorities to ensure that chickens are allowed where you live. The ideal is to have at least three chickens, as these birds need the company. And that number can raise around 500 to 700 eggs during the first year of production.
Don't just feed them scraps of food. Feed is also important to balance the animals' organism, producing stronger soil, eggs and meat.
