[Video] The Amazing Northern Lights Spectacle
With classical soundtrack, video shows the "peak" of the aurora borealis
The polar aurora, much better known as the aurora borealis, is a phenomenon that occurs in the night skies of polar regions. This spectacle of colors is due to the impact of solar wind particles channeled by the Earth's magnetic field with the Earth's upper atmosphere.
Photographer Henry Jun Wah Lee witnessed one of these events during a huge solar storm that hit Earth in March 2015. The result is in the video below, edited with a classical music soundtrack to reach the apotheosis. Very worth checking out.
