How often do you change sheets?
It is difficult to find a consensus on how often to change them. But here are some important touches
There is no feeling like a bed that has just had its sheets changed. Lying down after a long day is one of the wonders of life... Falling into bed with crisp sheets is like a chocolate-covered version of this wonder.
On the other hand, making the bed takes time when we could do more fun things. And then we still have to wash the used bed linen, that is, even more work...
It is not surprising that, in the household chores list, if we take into account factors such as small pleasures, cleanliness and time, there are differences in frequency regarding when to change the sheets. That's if she's done.
Some parents teach their children to shower before bedtime, or just wear pajamas to sleep. Some houses are naturally frosty, so you don't sweat much under the covers. All of these factors lead some people to change sheets only every three or four weeks. These same well-educated children, when they get to college, end up not even making the bed anymore, start sleeping with the clothes that come from the street and even leave a dirty sock lying around - or they commit the mortal sin of sleeping directly on the mattress, without lining it with sheet.
Of course, "dirty" is a subjective value, each one has its own. But it's a fact that your body releases hair, dead skin, oils and bacteria while you sleep, not to mention the cat you sleep with (yeah, Fluffy is full of mites). And when do you get sick then? All these things need to be washed after a while, otherwise the sheet will start to smell characteristically.
Even if you're all hygienic, your boyfriend or wife might sweat enough for the two of you, or they might not shower before bed - there are too many factors to consider. And speaking of big love, those nights (you know what I'm talking about) obviously affect the cleaning of the sheet. Now, if you sleep, the big boy, the children and the dog... It's a matter of common sense.
If you use water consciously, accumulating bed linen and washing them every two weeks is fine. It can't be more than a month, folks, conscience there too! Another tip: duvets and pillows, two to three times a year, but sunbathing on the covers breaks a branch.
Use warm water (never hot), turn the colored pillowcases inside out to preserve the color and rest!
