Reuse tea bags and be more sustainable in everyday life
Avoid chemical cleaning products and still save a little money. Just reuse the tea bags and dried tea leaves
Do you know those bags you use to make your tea? Now you can also use them to perform some common everyday tasks. See below for tips on how to reuse a tea bag and the tea that is left in it. In some cases, it is better to use dried tea leaves. Follow:
Remove stains from the bathroom:
To remove those stains on bathroom tiles, apply some used tea bags and leave them in contact with the stains for a few minutes. The worse the stain, the longer you should leave the bags in place;
refresh rugs
Children at play, pets sleeping, and unstable weather are all factors that leave your carpet with a terrible stench. To reverse this, just place a handful of dry tea leaves on the rug and let them rest for about 10 minutes. After that, remove the leaves and vacuum to remove the leftovers;
tenderize meat
The red wine used constantly to tenderize meat is considered expensive. Who knew a tea bag could have the same effect? That's because the tea contains natural tannins, with softening functions. Soak the tea bag in boiling water for about 5 minutes. Mix half a cup of brown sugar in the water until it dissolves in the liquid. Next, place the contents on the meat. Wait a few minutes and cook as you normally would;
clean mirrors
Put the cleaning products aside and use the tea to remove grease and dirt from the mirrors. To do this, you simply prepare a cup with one or two used tea bags. Use a cloth to clean the mirrors with this mixture;
Fertilize the plants
If you want to make your plants strong and your flowers beautiful, make a tea-based fertilizer. It is rich in nitrogen, a crucial component for plant growth as it contributes to photosynthesis and protein formation. To produce it, you need to add some tea bags to your garden soil. If you don't like the visual effect that the bags cause, just remove the content and deposit it in the same place. Another possibility is to use dried tea leaves. So, the soil in your garden will be better able to provide good growth for the plants. The tea bags are compostable, so it's okay to put them in the ground.
