Course at Sesc Tijuca teaches how to make ceramic objects
Activity includes theory and practice
The activity aims to address basic notions about the manipulation of ceramics. The course includes theoretical-practical classes, familiarization of clay as a modeling material and construction of functional and/or artistic objects. There will be a presentation of the techniques of modeling and construction of pieces, using specific and alternative tools. There will also be texture practices (surface treatment) and ceramic firing and enamelling at low temperatures.
