Smart trash can separates and compacts waste for recycling

Polish brand launches Bin-e, a smart trash can that identifies the correct destination for recyclable waste

after the smartphones, it's time for the “smart trash can”, the smart trash. THE start-up Polish company Bin-e has launched a trash can that uses artificial intelligence to identify the correct destination for the recyclable waste deposited in its inbound container.

With the same name as the company, the trash bin-e it has small sensors, cameras and image recognition algorithms that analyze what kind of garbage is placed inside and direct it to the correct space. It is divided into four parts for traditional recyclable materials: paper, plastic, glass and metal.

In addition, the smart trash can also compacts the trash and notifies you when one of the bins is full, in order to facilitate maintenance. The company's various dumps are connected and exchange information among themselves, in order to facilitate the process of recognizing discarded materials.
