Micro Luggage: wheeled case equipped with a scooter to avoid delays

The scooter can be folded and taken as hand luggage on the plane.

Those who travel a lot, especially on business, see the airport as an almost familiar place. However, the flow of people carrying suitcases is large, not to mention the rush for those who are late, which even makes small accidents happen.

To try to alleviate these small problems in airport lounges, the Swiss company Micro Mobility, in partnership with Samsonite, created the Micro Luggage , a wheeled suitcase equipped with a scooter at the bottom and an adjustable handlebar.

This handlebar is based on the principle of weight transfer, that is, whoever is riding applies their weight properly and turns are easily mastered. To help with steering, the "scooter bag" allows the user to choose between three springs: the red one, which is more rigid; blue, which is softer; and black, intermediate. It also adapts to the person's size because its handlebars can extend to a comfortable height.

Even with a built-in scooter, the parts are retractable, making it unnecessary to ship the Micro Luggage with large luggage. This makes it a great place to store delicate things like a laptop computer, according to the manufacturer.

The Micro Luggage weighs 5 kg, has a capacity of 26 liters and has a maximum load of 107 kg, 7 kg in the trunk alone. It has a top speed of 10 km/h and has a brake on the back of the scooter.

The only problem is its price, estimated at R$750 - to purchase the product, go to the official website. Even with the hefty price tag, it could be that the "scooter bag" helps to avoid missed flights, which would mean saving time and money. And despite being made for airports, the object can be a more sustainable and less polluting option for walking in the city.
