The awesome electric bike of the future: nCycle

Thanks to its “sandwich” shaped structure, it can be folded in two seconds and remains strong and balanced

With the advancement of technology and the modernization of means of transport, bicycles are also being adapted and improved. Electric, foldable and anti-pollution models are starting to come out of the paper and take to the streets, showing that safer and more practical options are viable for big cities.

However, designers Hussain Almossawi and Marin Myftiu have gone further and developed a bicycle concept that promises to revolutionize the way to ride on the skinny. It's the nCycle , a more elegant, lighter bike that has a shell-shaped shield to protect the electrical system from internal moisture, thus conserving the battery and increasing its performance and duration. It is considered innovative because of features such as: an internal pocket for placing small items, an integrated locking system without the need for a chain, and a key to tie and secure the bike. There are also integrated headlights and speakers and a holographic display.

There is also a more elaborate version that is aided by an electric motor located on the back of the bike. In general, folding bicycles have aesthetic deficiencies and are a little clumsy, so the nCycle, thanks to its structure in the "sandwich" format, can be folded in two seconds and remain resistant and balanced, even stopping standing if necessary .

Its integrated locking system represents the very best in security, portability and ease of use, according to the creators. That's because the handlebars are suitable to fit most poles and steel bars available in cities. The locking and unlocking process is simple, quick and consists of “hugging” the post with the handle next to the handlebars, pulling the tube from one of the handles and clicking inside the other handle.

Even the bicycle basket is different. Unlike traditional bulky and ugly baskets, nCycle's is located between the two metal plates and allows it to "disappear" when not in use. When used, it doesn't attract much attention.

Its headlights and speakers are powered by the main battery and, because they are attached to the handlebars, both are theft proof. The bike has an integrated bluetooth system and the option for the user to put a display instead of the cell phone support, which improves the visibility and safety of the cyclist.
