Architects create beautiful houses for cats

The profits obtained went to an NGO dedicated to controlling the stray cat population

Companions, demanding and independent, cats make great pets. Many treat them practically like children and are concerned, of course, with where they go to sleep and play. The US NGO FixNation created the initiative Architects for Animals. Basically, they asked some architects to create cat houses in the coolest way their minds could imagine. After the end result, there was a public display of the "feline homes" where they were sold to raise funds for a noble cause: the humanitarian control of stray cats.

As pussies have many offspring, in a few years they tend to multiply a lot, without there being enough people to care for them - they end up living in bad conditions and can become a vector of disease. Not to mention that, according to a survey carried out in 2013, stray and domestic cats are responsible, due to the ancestral hunting instinct, for the death of many animals (small birds and mammals); reducing the population of stray cats (with humane methods) and asking pet owners not to let them go out into the street are ways to avoid this problem.

Check out the cat houses made by the architects below. Warning: cats to follow, try not to melt with all that sweetness.
