Me-Move: the combination of bicycle and scooter

Would this be the next step in the journey of urban mobility?

Man walking on the Me-Mover

Imagine getting around the city at the speed of a bicycle. This is not difficult to do; but what if you could combine that speed with the reflexes of a skier? Thus was born, on the streets of Copenhagen, Denmark, the me-move.

The creators promise ease of learning and use, and sustainability. O me-move it's practically a scooter-like walking machine with three wheels. Weighing approximately 21 kg, its structure can be folded and carried by hand, just like a shopping cart. Resistant, according to the developers, withstands a maximum weight of up to 110 kg, regardless of the force exerted on the movement. Its measurements are similar to those of a bicycle, and parking is not a hindrance.

Another potential advantage would be a better posture for the body - the user is standing in the vehicle, with the back completely straight - allowing a larger visual area, which would benefit runners and lovers of the landscape. It is not necessary to get out of the vehicle when a red light appears: the brake mechanism is immediately activated as soon as the user stops "pedaling". And by pedaling, it is understood a concentrated exercise similar to that of jogging, but without the damage of impact with the ground, strengthening the leg muscles and correcting the spine.

me-move promises never to be obsolete compared to new models. Options - ranging from electric motors to battery chargers (all powered by kinetic energy), can be installed in the most basic version of the vehicle.
