Teachers provide yoga classes on Instagram and Youtube

With practical classes and relaxation techniques, the idea is for people to take care of their health during the voluntary isolation of the new coronavirus

During social isolation due to the emergence of the new coronavirus, Marcos Rojo, professor of yoga more than 35 years ago, it organized a group of teachers of yoga volunteers to offer the activity in lives on your Instagram.

Classes will be offered from the 23rd, from Monday to Thursday at 5 pm, and will be available for 24 hours on Instagram. Those unable to participate in the lives can watch at other times on the Marcos Rojo Youtube channel.

Practice yoga at home is a way to avoid sedentary lifestyle and human contact during the period of voluntary isolation. In addition, it helps to keep immunity and mental health up to date with relaxation techniques.

About Marcos Rojo

Graduated in Physical Education from the University of São Paulo in 1975, graduated in yoga by the Kaivalyadhama Institute in 1980, PhD in Science of yoga in 1999 (India) and Master by the Department of Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo in 2007. He was a professor of yoga for 35 years at the Center for Sports Practices at the University of São Paulo. Founder of the Institute of Education and Research in yoga (IEPY), being the teacher responsible for the courses offered by it. teaches yoga in courses at IEPY, at Espaço Marcos Rojo, at Associação Palas Athena, among others. Author of the books "What is yoga" (Publisher Brasiliense), "Studies on the yoga" (Phorte Editora) and the video "yoga for beginners" by Bons Fluidos magazine (Editora Abril).
