Greenhouse is made from PET bottle and bamboo
Functional, the place can even house a person
Reusing materials is the trend, and even better if it comes efficiently. That was the assumption of Vegetable Nursery House, a bamboo and PET bottle greenhouse in Vietnam.
Created from plans of architectural professionals from 1+1>2 International Architecture Company and the local group Ação para a Cidade, from Hanoi, its objective is, with low cost and reuse of materials, to make urban gardens and gardens more efficient, in addition to spreading sustainable habits among the inhabitants of the capital.
The sustainable greenhouse houses vegetables in an area of 21.6 m² (6 m x 3.6 m), which also reuses rainwater. There is even a space for the dormitory of a person who has been victim of a catastrophe or homeless. It is possible that she can grow her own food for survival.
But, of course, the greenhouse had to do for what it was made: the bottles help to balance the temperature and illuminate the plants placed inside, which also provides - at night, an environment, according to the creators, suitable for a person's rest.
Bamboo and bottles are lightweight. The frame is easy to assemble and can be transported without any problems.
