After a few months of use, the shower holes end up clogging. This is due to the constant deposit of minerals such as limestone and hardened particles present in the water. This way, the bath becomes less pleasant. But you can change that in a very simple way and using a shower unclog recipe without harmful chemicals. Check the video above, from the channel eCycle portal at the YouTube, how to proceed. See more details and check the step by step below to learn how to unclog shower holes.

Before doing anything else, turn off the shower circuit breaker or the main circuit breaker in your home to avoid shocks. Next, unscrew the bottom of your shower (the bottom of the shower "head").

In a bowl (which fits this shower bottom), add enough water to cover the item and pour in half a glass of vinegar. Mix well and insert the bottom of your clogged shower into the container.

Wait about an hour for plastic showers. Metal showers only need 20 minutes. Then dry the item, run a sponge or an old toothbrush through the holes that remain clogged, and use a paper clip or some small wire to remove stubborn residue.

Ready! Now just screw it again and take a nicer shower. But remember: avoid wasting water as much as possible! Turn off the shower while you're soaping and take showers by the clock. There are even apps that make this water-saving task easier. Check out other tips to avoid wasting water at home.

If it is too difficult to remove the bottom of the shower, you can put the water and vinegar mixture in a plastic bag and tie it in the shower so that the contents are in contact with the holes. This will make the process of unclogging your shower easier. However, the ideal is to use the first method, as it can be cleaned more completely.
