Homemade moisturizing recipes for curly hair

1. Coconut milk

This recipe helps to reduce the frizz and also the volume. It leaves curly hair very soft and increases its shine.

  • 4 tablespoons of coconut milk

The combination of banana and honey promotes hydration and also helps to reduce hair porosity, leaving them soft and shiny.

  • 1 very ripe banana
  • 1 dessert spoon of honey

Mash the banana well and mix it with the honey. If possible, mix in a food processor or blender. Pass the contents on clean, damp strands and let it act for 20 minutes. Then rinse well to remove excess curly hair - using a conditioner can help with this. This technique can be used up to once a week.

3. Avocado

Another recipe that helps combat porosity and reduce frizz. Besides, it gives an incredible shine to the hair.

  • 4 tablespoons of avocado

Mash the avocado well and spread it in the bunches. Let it act for 20 minutes and then rinse with plenty of water, until all the mixture is removed. Then make a new rinse with conditioner. This recipe can be made a maximum of once a week.

4. Carrots and beets

This is a net recipe, to be sprinkled over the wires. It gives a lot of shine and super defined curls.

  • half raw carrot
  • half raw beet
  • Half a glass of filtered water

Blend all ingredients in a blender, strain and place in a spray bottle. Run through all curly hair, no economy. Expect to act from 20 minutes to two hours. Rinse and finish with conditioner. You can use this mixture twice a week.

5. Coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil

This is the simplest recipe! Simply apply coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil through the entire length of the hair, from root to tip. Wait for two hours or more and then wash your hair with conditioner. Other types of vegetable oil can also be used, such as andiroba (combats hair loss), Argan (prevents dryness and aging) and copaiba (increases the shine of the hair).
