Designer makes amazing pieces from used clothes from thrift stores

Have you ever thought about transforming that old outfit into a completely new one?

We often don't know what to do with that old, dull clothes that are in the back of the closet. Have you thought about recycling clothes to create new ones?

American writer and designer Jillian Owens decided to promote a different fashion. She went after thrift stores and secondhand stores in search of old, cheap clothes that no one would ever think to buy. After acquiring them for very little, she used a lot of creativity to transform them into elegant fashion pieces.

Clothing recycling is easy, fast and cheap. Just pick up thread, needle, scissors and sewing machine to let your creativity flourish. Below, some photos found on the designer's website:

Recycling old items that no one uses anymore is also a way to save money, in addition to having an exclusive outfit. You can bet no one will have a model like yours!
