The accumulation of garbage is one of the biggest problems in our society. One way to alleviate this problem is by reusing items. The staff at Sesc Vila Mariana, in São Paulo, had the brilliant idea of showing people a creative way of reusing materials that would otherwise be discarded... In this case, the glass bottles.
At the beginning of the workshop, the bottles will already be pierced, but there will be a demonstration and explanation on how to pierce them. Participants will then build their own lighting fixtures. Glass bottles that would be discarded and materials for customization will be made available. Tickets are collected one hour beforehand, at the call center.
