[Video] Real-life Pokémon wouldn't be sustainable at all

"Scientifically accurate" version would have animal trafficking and poor living conditions for children

The series of video games and children's animations Pokémon won the world in the 90s. The plot revolved around the saga of children who captured special little monsters to participate in battles. But what permeated the imagination of many young people for so long took on a darker air.

The animation channel Animation Domination High-Def decided to produce a video portraying what would be a "scientifically accurate" version of the animated series. In other words, an attempt was made to recreate the Pokémon universe, if it existed in real life.

And the result, although comical, is far from sustainable. A ten-year-old child with no income has to go through hardships, such as sleeping with beggars, trafficking in animals, in addition to subjecting them to participate in deadly fights.

Of course, you can't take a fictional creation literally. But the animation is funny in revealing just how terrible a "cute" children's story could be if it actually happened.
