In order to optimize the safety of cyclists when using their bikes in urban centers, the entrepreneurs created Zackees, a glove that works as a signal for pedal lovers.

The product has LED lights that can be turned on easily, just push your index finger or thumb and activate the contact plate. In addition, it can run on a rechargeable battery or also be used with a non-rechargeable battery in conjunction with battery saving features.

The creation was registered on the crowdfunding website kickstarter and with just two days of registration, they got more than what was requested for the mass production of the gloves ($35,000). With the funding closed on January 8 of this year, they were able to raise more than double the amount required, raising US$ 72,555 from around 800 donors. The product is available for pre-purchase for $75 on the company's website.

Zach Vorhies, a former Google engineer and LED lover of Tinkerer, left his job to work on the glove idea, which was created in 2011.

However, his idea failed because the drawings were always bulky and impractical, according to him. To overcome the "disillusionment", the engineer worked in partnership with a friend who is a fashion designer in New York, and created Zackees.

Vorhies says he intends to invest in cycling and fashion and is already thinking about another project: a speaker box that can be integrated into a backpack, so that people don't have to wear headphones while walking.
