Casológica is a company concerned with people's quality of life. Created by environmental engineers and biologists in 2008, it works with products and services that are based on the tripod of Sustainability. Its main areas of activity currently are domestic composting, water reuse and environmental education.
With products made from recycled or reused materials, Casológica offers sustainable solutions for daily consumption, be it water or garbage. It all started in the backyard of Rafael Greco's house, a biologist who has always kept a close eye on the preservation of natural resources. He was already composting his garbage and collecting water for reuse and decided to turn into a business what he started with orders from friends and small orders for composters and cisterns.
Rafael says that his life mission has always been to help people to be sustainable. So people started looking to him for suggestions on how to better handle waste or options for reusing water. It started in the backyard and Casológica grew until it reached orders for composters and mini cisterns for large stores of the type home center.
Currently, Rafael and his collaborators offer products and services to people who need help to take care of nature. They emphasize that natural resources are running out and the main responsible for their degradation is the human being, who needs to make an effort to do their part in mitigating the negative impacts of their presence in the world.
In addition to selling compost bins made with recycled plastic and drums for collecting rainwater, recycled from the transport of olives, Casológica also has an Institute focused on Environmental Education, which receives visits from schools and groups interested in talking about nature conservation, consumption conscious and reuse of materials.
