DIY: Homemade products to buff, remove stains and disinfect

The most common natural ingredients in homemade cleaning product recipes are baking soda, lemon, and vinegar. They are inexpensive, have great cleaning potential, and are greener than the traditional chemicals we are used to using. Remove internal stains from the bathtub with baking soda

Those stains that form on the bathtub or on the tiles due to the accumulation of dirt and even body fat can be removed with baking soda and water. Spray the mixture over the stains. Then, just wait for about an hour and wash the areas with water. It is also possible to remove these stains, oddly enough, using used tea bags (see more here);

Use ice to remove wax from the carpet.

If some candle wax ended up on the rug and you don't know how to get it out, here's a simple tip: just cool it. To do this, fill a thermal bag or plastic bag (preferably reusable) with ice and place it on the wax stuck to the rug. Wait about 45 minutes and try to remove. Frozen, the wax is more easily removed;

Polish copper with lemon and salt

Want to give a shine to copper objects in your home? Then separate lemon and a little salt. First, microwave the lemon for ten seconds, then cut it in half. Remember to wear gloves when handling or using lemon and, at the end of cleaning, wash your hands well and avoid exposure to the sun, as lemon on the skin and exposure to the sun can cause burns;

Shine silver objects with banana peels

If you find stains on your silver objects, use an unusual ally: banana peel. First, you must mix this husk with water until it forms a paste. Then rub this paste on the silver with a soft cloth and then rinse the object completely. Remember to dry the silver before returning it to the place where it will be stored, as the action of microorganisms can damage the material.
