A Japanese textile company has invented something unusual, but it can make the environment "more sustainable" at home or at work. The innovation created was a pair of underwear that absorbs the odor of the user's fart. Although it is not such a difficult task to handle flatulence, the subject becomes less comical when it occurs with people who have intestinal disorders and cannot contain themselves.
Deoest, as it is called, is already a sales success in Japan. At first, the company thought of promoting this product only to people who suffer from intestinal problems, but with increasing demand in sectors such as executives who hold daily meetings , marketing has expanded to all types of consumers.
Operation
The company has developed a technique for inserting ceramic particles into textile fiber, which "break down" odor compounds. After many years, Seiren was able to manufacture an underwear that was both comfortable and efficient. According to the company, the efficiency is proven because the underwear can be washed up to 100 times, without losing its filtration.
