Although a long bath can feel very pleasant, it is always worth remembering that this habit also contributes to the waste of water and increased energy consumption, consequences that compromise natural resources and weigh on your pocket. But let's face it, it's a bit inconvenient to keep turning the faucet on and off every time you start to soap yourself. Here's how the American Evan Schneider had one of those simple and efficient ideas: he developed a shower that turns off when the user gets out from under the device.

baptized of OaSense, the equipment has a sensor near the water outlet that recognizes the presence of the person below it. The operation is similar to that of faucets and illuminators that have the same device.

According to information from the portal TreeHugger, another benefit of OaSense it is its pressure control that reduces the amount of water expended during showering. The device uses four AA batteries (life of one year) and has a small switch, responsible for the detection system.

“Like many of our best ideas, the OaSense was born during a shower. I was concerned about the drought that still plagues California, and I was determined to do something about it,” Schneider wrote in his official campaign on a crowdfunding website. Available in five colors. Check out the product video.
